FAQs

Q. I’m interested in finding out more. What should I do?

A. Drop us an email at info@physioforchildren.co.uk with details of the person and condition you would like us to treat. Once we have received your enquiry, we will email you a copy of our terms and conditions and CV’s for you to look at.

Q. I want to go ahead and book an appointment. What happens next?

A. We will assign your case to the physiotherapist most qualified to meet your needs. They will arrange to visit you for an initial assessment at your convenience. This will give us a better idea of the intervention required and we will work with you to agree a plan.

Q. How much does it cost?

A. The cost will vary from person to person depending on the amount of physiotherapy input required. We will always provide you with an estimated breakdown of costings before undertaking any physiotherapy treatment.

Q. Are you the physiotherapists for me?

A. We pride ourselves on the positive feedback we receive from our clients and professional contacts that we work with. It is vitally important to us that we build up a good relationship with families, support workers, schools and other involved parties to ensure good communication, trust and an understanding that we are working towards a common goal. We want the very best for our clients so will offer you nothing less than the very best of us.

All our staff are DBS (formerly CRB) checked, Bobath trained and are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council as well being members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.

Q. We already receive NHS physiotherapy input, would we still be able to book an appointment with you?

A. Yes. We will liaise with your NHS physiotherapist to establish the amount of therapy input currently in place and will work to compliment this. Regular communication with your NHS physiotherapist will ensure that we are both on the right track to achieving the maximum potential from your physiotherapy sessions.
